The place where I live has some seriously slow issues - watching YouTube at 360p is a blessing, it's usually 240p. Anyway, complaints aside, I have a family member with a super fast unlimited data Internet, and he agreed to download me some stuff. Can someone please tell me how to download Steam games without Steam? And tell me how to use them when he sends them via USB (through another visiting family member). If Steam is required, please tell me how I can use those games from the USB.
Sep 09, 2015 another way is to, when downloading the game for the first time, set steam to downlaod in another folder. Then you can copy paste this folder to any other computer, and in the steam, just add that folder to the steam games folder. Steam will detect the games and add them. I leave it to run for x hours, or overnight, and check up on it later.
