1) What exactly happens when you try to use the external subwoofer device on the computer? Do you get any error message when you connect it to the computer?

2) Did you install all the latest Windows 8.1 drivers on the computer?

5) What is the status of the device shown in the Device Manager?

To check the status of a device in Device Manager, you may follow these steps:

a) Press “Windows Logo” + “R” keys on the keyboard and type “devmgmt.msc” in the “Run” Command box and press “Enter”.

b) Search for the external subwoofer device that you are having issues with, right click on it and select “Properties”.

c) Click on the “General” tab, and then look in the “Device status” box to see if it mentions any problems with the device or its driver.
